PLATEAU LGC ELECTIONS: BREAKING: PLASIEC CALLS FOR PATIENCE OVER HITCHES, EXTENDS VOTING TIME FROM 3PM TO 5PM

Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC) has appealed to electorates and the general public for patience during the ongoing Local Government Council (LGC) elections in the 17 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the state, over the hitches being experienced.

PLASIEC has also notified the general public, political parties, candidates and stakeholders that the time for voting has been extended in its press release..

“PLASIEC, hereby notifies the general public, political parties, candidates, and all stakeholders that the time for the conduct of the ongoing Local Government Elections in Plateau State has been extended.

“The election which was scheduled for 8 Am. to 3Pm. has now been extended by two hours and is expected to end by 5pm. in the affected polling units”.
