Ladies and gentlemen of the press, esteemed citizens of Plateau State, and fellow Middle-Belters,
We gather today as the Coalition of the Cultural Middle-Belt Political Forum to make a historic endorsement, one that reflects our commitment to the progress and development of Plateau state.
CULTURAL MIDDLE-BELT FORUM
Introduction
As young leaders from the Middle-Belt region, we recognize the significance of local government elections in shaping the future of our communities and the upcoming October 9th Local Government Election presents an opportunity to elect leaders who share our vision for Grassroots development, Inclusive Governance, Economic growth, addressing security issues on the Plateau and given everyone a sense of belonging.
After a careful consideration, rigorous assessment, and consultation with stakeholders, we wholeheartedly endorse all PDP Chairmanship and Councillorship candidates for the October 9th Local Government Election in Plateau State.
It is important to explain that Our endorsement stems from Governor Caleb Mutfwang's unwavering commitment to Grassroots development in Plateau State. His administration's dedication to empowering local communities and fostering inclusive growth resonates deeply with our values.
LEADERS OF THE FORUM
This is because within just one year few months in office, Plateau has witnessed and is still witnessing Grassroots Development through Governor Mutfwang's initiatives and he has demonstrated genuine focus on local needs and empowerment, aligning with our desire for community-driven progress.
The Inclusive Governance by Governor Mutfwang is worthy of commendation by ensuring that all various nationalities of the Middle-Belt have a voice in his administration..
The Governor's economic strategies prioritize job creation, infrastructure development, and sustainable progress, essential for our region's prosperity.
MEMBERS OF THE FORUM
We have also seen Governor Mutfwang's Achievements in the area of Infrastructure development in rural areas, Enhancing education and healthcare services, Empowerment programs for youth and women, Promotion of agriculture and entrepreneurship as well as the prioritization of Security and the welfare of citizens.
LEADERS OF THE FORUM
We therefore urge all Middle-Belt citizens to:
1. Rally behind all the 17 PDP Chairmanship and 325 Councillorship candidates.
2. Ensure a resounding victory for the PDP on October 9th Election.
3. Join us in uniting and building a brighter future for our communities for a prosperous Plateau State and Middle-Belt region.
