The Executive Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council (LGC), Hon. John Christopher Kyohroh has sworn in Kabiru Muhammad Garkuwa as his Deputy, while promising to operate an inclusive Community-Based administration.
The Chairman stated this during the swearing-in ceremony of his Deputy at the Council's Board Room in Jos.
The Council’s Chairman commended the state Governor, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, for keeping on to his promise of conducting a free, fair and credible election, and to reciprocate this, Hon. Chris, promised the people of massive development.
Adding that, he would work harmonious with citizens and other critical stakeholders, while noting that “they would be better together if they join to sustain development in the LGA”.
In his response, the Deputy Chairman, Kyohroh, emphasized that Jos North Local Government is a miniature Nigeria, while pledging to “build unity, peace, and development to enhance peaceful coexistence among localities”.
The Deputy Chairman, Hon. Garkuwa, while expressing gratitude to the Council Chairman and the people of Jos North Local Government Area (LGA) for trusting him with the mandate to serve, he further assured them of “his unalloyed support, loyalty, and commitment to the growth and development of the people”.
