Hon. Pwajok (SAN), is also demanding for the sum of N22, 000, 000.00 (Twenty-Two Million Naira) only, being the charge for the Defendants defiance and refusal to pay the legal fee charged and agreed by parties for the prosecution of Appeal Nos: CA/J/EPT/PL/26/2023, CA/J/EPT/PL/25/2023, and CA/J/EPT/PL/HR/37/2023.

To fulfil the process of filing the suit, Pwajok’s Counsel, has accompanied the suit with the Certificate of Pre-action Counselling.

The Certificate of Pre-action Counselling signed by C. I. Paul (Esq), leading, J. Y. Gwom (Esq), M. G. Aluma (Esq), W. B. Rwang (Esq) all of Pwajok, Ikowe & Co; in part reads: “I, C. I. Paul (Esq). certify that as the legal practitioner representing Edward Gyang Pwajok (SAN) LB, the Claimant (my client), I have counselled my client on the strength and weakness of his cause or matter and informed him of the opportunity available for the alternative dispute resolution of this case and the possibility of reconciliation between the parties being effected either with or without the assistance of such an organization and should this matter turn out to be frivolous, I am prepared to be liable as the provision of the rules of this court”.

You would recall that REALITY had reported that, in the course of Pwajok (SAN) trying to remind the Defendant of the unpaid balance, he had replied that he never engaged him but his party, the APC.

Hon. Vincent in part stated: “I am in receipt of your above letter. I never paid you and fee, the monies I gave you is because of your insistence that APC my party that briefed you was not facilitating what you wanted to do, that is why I gave you money to do the needful NOT fees. I did not brief you to handle any petition for me nor appeal.

Kindly, keep the respect we have for one another.

Thank you”.
