FOR SERVICE TO NATION AND HUMANITY: MR. ISAAC WADAK, BAGS NANNS AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

For his constant contributions to national development and the advancement of humanity in the areas of Education and Morals, Mr. Isaac Wadak has bagged an “A-Class Award of Excellence” from the National Association of Northern Nigerian Students (NANNS).

The Award that was delivered to a surprised Isaac Wadak in his office in Jos today, by, Abdul I. Umar, the National President of NANNS, according to its President is to encourage him “do more”.

The President informed Mr. Wadak that, “People that are usually nominated and selected for this Award are Achievers and our visiting them is to enable us learn more concerning them and how they managed to succeed.

“The Award also gives the Awardees, widows and opportunities to always come to our organized lectures on social and educational issues such as, in the areas of the effect(s) of kidnapping, gender related violence issues, sensitizations and moral boosting”.

 

Earlier in the Association’s Notification Letter for the Award communicated to Mr. Wadak, the Association had explained that, Mr. Isaac Wadak was nominated and selected based on the information gathered and processed by a Committee.

“Considering the strength of the impressive recommendations by the students, youths and public at large, validated by our independent survey, which confirmed your contributions to National development, Educational Development, Moral Development, Youth empowerment, Excellent Discipline, National Building and Service to Humanity, your name has been nominated and adopted during the last Executive/Legislative meeting of the Association without much difficulty for the A-Class Award of Excellence”. The Letter partly read.

In his responds, while accepting the Award, Mr. Isaac Wadak, thanked members of the Association for considering him for such Prestigious Award, despite the country’s huge population.

MR. WADAK AFTER RECEIVING THE THREE STAR MEDAL

He said the award would spur him to do more and would therefore not disappoint the Association.

The former Permanent Secretary of the Plateau State Civil Service and the Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Plateau State chapter used the occasion to urged the students to go professional, especially, in the field of Taxation.

Mr. Wadak said, “Taxation is the future means of generating revenue. The era of oil would soon be over”.

The highlight of the occasion was the documents given to NANNS delegates to encourage them go into the field of Taxation by Mr. Wadak
