To help in fighting the scourge of unemployment in Plateau State, especially, in Jos-North/Bassa Federal Constituency, the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has thanked the Executive Governor of Plateau State and the Member representing Jos-North/Bassa Federal Constituency, at the Lower Chambers of the National Assembly (NASS) for their support and encouragements.
The State Coordinator of NDE, Mallam Ibrahim Hardo Abdullazeez, gave this commendation today during the disbursement of Micro-Enterprise Enhancement Scheme (MEES) Loan to 1000 beneficiaries in Jos-North Local Government Secretariat of Plateau State.
According to the speech delivered by Mallam Ibrahim Hardo Abdullazeez, at the occasion, the duo had help and supported the NDE in carrying out the activities of the Directorate in the state.
The Coordinator also thanked its Director-General, Nasir Muhammed Ladan Argungu and his Management team for giving them the opportunity to serve the people of Plateau State.
On his part, Hon. Alhaji Maitala, has advised the 1000 beneficiaries of the scheme to use the N10, 000.00 naira loan wisely.
Speaking on behalf of Hon. Maitala, his Legislative Aide, Hon. Philip Adik, further advised the beneficiary to imbibe the culture of investing.
Adding that, “More of these forms of laudable programs are still coming”.
The Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC) Jos North chapter, Alhaji Sani Gengere, in his remarks said the beneficiaries should not see the scheme with surprise, as the scheme is entrenched in the manifesto of the APC and more of it should be expected from the President and the Member, Hon, Maitala.
The highlight of the event, was the disbursement of money to the beneficiaries.
