Information just reaching the news desk of REAITY indicates that, Sen. Jeremiah Useni, the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 governorship election in Plateau State, may have given his nod and acceptance to the newly elected Executive of the Plateau State chapter, led by Hon. Chris Hassan, thereby paving way for a smooth campaign and preparation for the coming Southern Senatorial rerun election in the state.
You would recall that, the vacant seat at the Nigerian Senate was caused by the death of late, Sen. Ignatius Longjan, who was representing the Southern Senatorial District before his sudden demise.
REALITY gathered that, members of the Plateau State EXCO led by, Hon. Chris Hassan, in their quest to reconcile with all and bring dissatisfied members back to the fold of the party have continued to pay visits on major stakeholders and leaders in the chapter with the aim of getting their acceptance, blessings and advises in order to move the chapter forward and also prepare the chapter for the coming contest.
REALITY gathered that, the face-off between, Hon. George Daika and Hon. Shakarau (Reps), was equally dived into and settled, as the EXCO paid visits on Sen. Ibrahim Mantu, Sir, Fidelis Tapgun, Sen. Jonah Jang among others.
It was gathered that, Sen. Useni has called on his loyalists in the chapter to also embrace and accept the new EXCO led by Hon. Chris Hassan and sheath their political swords so that, they can join in moving the party forward and also take back their rightful place in Plateau State.
REALITY gathered that, the General had blamed the National Headquarters of the PDP for all that had happened in the chapter because, they allegedly failed to give proper explanations and directives, while the dispute in the chapter lingered.
In another development, members of the reconstituted Caretaker Committee for Kaduna State in which Hon. Timothy Golu was a member have delivered on their mandate without hitches or Appeals. Rather, the only appeal that made its way to the panel was withdrawn by the petitioner.
Members of the Plateau State chapter of the PDP, since yesterday, have continued to commend and shower praises on Hon. Timothy Golu, for the feat achieved by him and other members of the now defunct Kaduna Committee.
