PLATEAU STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY’S CLERK, MR. PONVEN WUYEP: THE NEW FINDINGS—AN INVESTIGATION COMING SOON!

By: Valentine Adese (JP),

Plateau State House of Assembly is one of the oldest legislative institutions in Nigeria, when compared to Legislative Houses in Delta, Edo, Akwa Ibom among others States.

In all, since the rebirth of the current democracy in 1999, Plateau State has constantly been on the news on politically driven issues within the State House of Assembly.

Political and historical records have it that, Most Speakers that have led the House, never completed their Four (4) year tenure. It is usually hard from REALITY findings, as most of the Speakers last only Two (2) years in office.

Can the incumbent Speaker break the record where Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong, Rt. Hon. Emanuel Go’ar, Rt. Hon. Peter Azi and others have failed?

Investigation also revealed that, the seat or position of the Clerk since1999 has always been an issue and a political spot for show of supremacy among the honourable members of the House.

You would recall that REALITY had reported that the Clerk, MR. PONVEN WUYEP, was keeping an impress of One Million (N1,000,000.00) monthly, when Directors are having only One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira only, as impress.

The findings of REALITY in the last few weeks would blow your mind after the earlier reports concerning the incumbent Clerk.

Keep faith with REALITY!
