The Chairman of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), Jos South Local Government Area (LGA) of Plateau State, Hon. Bitrus Boyi Ngah has promised to take the Party to the next level by working towards executing, building and improving on the plans of his predecessor.
Disclosing these plans and his current achievements to REALITY in an exclusive interview today at his office in Jos South Local Government, Hon. Ngah, reiterated that his party would participate actively in the upcoming Southern Senatorial Zone rerun election.
According to the Chairman, “We would take the ADP to the next level of expected good governance in Jos South and Plateau State. I would work assiduously towards executing, building and improving on the plans of my predecessor.”
He further stated that, “The party is working towards making, Jos South Local Government Area an enviable place and indeed to make the people of Plateau State happy, by bringing and giving the people, the desired dividends of democracy and good governance when the party takes over power in the state, come 2023.”
On the vacant Southern Senatorial seat in Plateau State, caused owing to the death of late Sen. Longjan, the Chairman said, “I want to assure you that we as a party, will participate in the Plateau Southern Senatorial rerun election whenever the dates and modalities are announced by INEC. We are prepared and only waiting for the announcement of INEC to kick start our political activities towards that direction.
He also mentioned that, the party is up and doing in terms of engaging with its members in all the three zones in the state and at the national level in order to ensure that everyone in the party is being carried along.
“We are doing this in close collaboration and consultation with the media, as the media is the only platform, through which the activities of the party can be projected.” He stated.
On the current COVID 19 pandemic ravaging the world, the Chairman urged the Federal and State governments, to rise up to their responsibility and do the needful so that, Nigerians would be able to celebrate. He opined that, he does not wish for the pandemic to last long, but that, as a political party they are also planning to support the people, as much as they can with palliatives.
Hon. Bitrus Boyi, called on the people of Jos South LGA, to have faith in the party and give it the needed chance to prove and implement its plans by voting for the party always and in any election.
