PLATEAU PDP DEPUTY CHAIRMANSHIP POSITION: HOPE RISING FOR CAPT. GOLEN, AS HE MAY BE GOING UNOPPOSED

By: Valentine Adese (JP), Eunice Maina,

There is a strong believe among the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members in Plateau State that some of the seats of the state chapter’s EXCO may be going unopposed with the situation and need of the chapter to embrace peace after a prolonged crisis.

Through the Congresses, from the Wards to the Local Government Congresses, REALITY had observed that, consensus have been used as the tool for the emergence of leaders at those levels. It is therefore, also believed by pundits that, most likely, the State Congress may produce leaders using the same method.

HON. AMOS GOMBI

However, one of the sensitive positions that, has continued to draw the interest of members of the party from the Central Zone of the state, is that of the Deputy Chairman, because of the involvement of the incumbent, Hon. Amos Gombi in the just settled crisis in the party and the way he allegedly rocked the chapter.

REALITY news desk has just gathered that Hon. Amos Gombi has not yet presented himself for screening and that the effect of it is that, he might be disqualified.

Pundits on their part have posited that, if the disqualification takes place, it would mean hope for his challenger, Capt. Bitrus Yilkudi Golen (Rtd), the reported candidate of, Hon. Timothy Golu and Mr. Isaac Wadak

IS THE CHAPTER AND THE NATIONAL BODY, ALREADY PREPARING FOR ANOTHER LEGAL BATTLE?
