Gov. Obiano Swears in Anambra State’s First Female Chief Judge (C.J)

The Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano has sworn in Hon. Justice Ijem Onwuamaegbu, as the Acting Chief Judge (Ag. CJ) for Anambra state.

THE SEARING IN CEREMONY

The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Executive Chamber, Government House, Awka.

Governor Obiano, at the swearing-in, expressed optimism that the appointment would help speed up the dispensation of justice in the state.

The Governor also assured Onwuamaegbu of his administration’s support to enable her deliver on her new mandate.

The Acting CJ, from REALITY check has made history, as the first female Chief Judge, since the creation of Anambra state.

Onwuamaegbu, took over from Hon. Justice Peter Umeadi.
