As Gen Jonathan Temlong and his party, the Action Democratic Party (ADP) continue their campaigns at the central zone of Plateau State, they have been urged to help provided water to Kanam Local Government Area, if voted into office.
According to the Emir of Kanam, Alhaji Muhammadu Mu’azu Muhammad, who received him in his Palace yesterday 30th of January, 2019, during the ADP and Gen Temlong’s “Door to Door Campaign” across the Central Zone of the state, the quest for water in the local government is a “lifelong desire”.
The Emir said Kanam local government area is in dire need of water and a Federal Institution, as he also especially urged, ADP’s Senatorial candidate for Plateau Central Senatorial District Chief Engr. Manasseh Damulak to ensure he works with the governorship hopeful, if elected, so as to, bring real development to the state, stressing that, “Both aspiring for the National Assembly and the State Assembly must work together to actualize the said dream”.
The Emir ended his speech by praying and calling for God’s blessings upon the candidates, as he wishes them well
Earlier, the governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), Brig. Gen Temlong, while at the Palace of HRH the Emir of Kanam Alhaji Muhammadu Mu’azu Muhammad II, told the Emir that he has come to solicit for his support and that of all the people of Kanam.
Gen. Temlong while canvassing, told the Emir and all those present that his desire is to bring in Citizen Centered Government, while promising the Royal Father that, “As a war lord, he intends to bring to bear his long time experience in governing Plateau State, if voted in to power by the people in order to bring permanent peace on the Plateau.
He lamented the way and manner subsequent governments have played politics with the lives of citizens, adding that he also intends to use traditional rulers so as to achieve permanent peace Plateau deserved.
“I promise to make Plateau regain its pride once again!” Temlong promised.
