Myrole Aid Mission, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) has been launched in Plateau state with the goal of alleviating poverty and assist in the peace building efforts going on in the country.
Prince (ENGR), Solomon Gokas, the Country Director of the organization, while speaking to journalist at the launch of the organization at Crest Hotel, Jos, Plateau State, said that the idea behind the organization is to help the needy in society.
He revealed that his inspiration to help the less privilege stems from the fact that he too also came from a very poor background.
Prince Solomon said, “The organization is aimed at meeting up with two goals, which are leadership training and as well as, community development, through knowing the less privileged problems, and coming to a conclusion of how to solving them”.
Solomon further stated that, the organization is trusting God to help them achieved their goals and expecting partners to support them by next year in various ways in order for the less privileged to benefit.
Solomon stated that, “The mission of MYROLE AID MISSION is contributing positively to humanity by adding value and meaning to lives of individuals and communities through economic empowerment, training and educational scholarships”.
High dignitaries and participants from different works of life in Plateau state were present at the event at Crest Hotel that was chaired by Chief Amos Gizo.
