Gov. Lalong’s Over N9million Assistance to NUJ: National President of NUJ, Abudulwaheed Odusile, point Fingers towards Mark Longyen (SSA)

By: Valentine Adese,

The last has not been heard of the alleged mismanagement of over N9million that the Plateau state Governor, Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong, donated to assist the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) conduct its conference in Jos, the Plateau State capital, as the incumbent President of the Union has directed the NUJ, especially its members in Plateau State Council to seek answers from the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor, Mr. Mark Longyen.

Mr. Odusile, who visited the Plateau State Council today, to canvass votes and support from delegates over his return bid, as President of the Union, threatened that henceforth, he would sue anybody who links his name to the N9.5million donated by the Governor.

You would recall that at the time of this alleged fraud and mismanagement of the money, the then Chairman of Plateau Council, Mr. Yakubu Taddy, had sought for answers from Mr. Longyen and as a Council, the Governor was petitioned.

REALITY has however gathered that issue surrounding the money is yet to be settled.

It is of note that, at the time of this money controversy, late Emmanuel Samuel Nanle, was still that Director of Press and Public Affairs to the Governor and he was not in the picture before the money was handed over.
