According to Sen. Victor Lar, “The major challenges of Plateau state are insecurity, over dependence on federal allocation as its only and major source of revenue for the state and lack of innovation for industrialization which invariably has led to poor Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) in the state”.

In most local governments visited a minute silence was observed for those who lost their lives in the recent attacks which he attributed to the insecurity in the state and if given the opportunity to fly the party’s ticket, he would put an end to it.

He further assured party delegates that he has what it takes as a full time politician to slug it out with any one in the opposing party if given the opportunity in the forth coming party primaries to be the party’s candidate.

Sen. Victor Lar assured delegates visited that he will support whoever emerges as the party’s candidate at the end of the day.
