Investigation: THE DISUNITY AND DISAGREEMENTS AMONG GOV. LALONG’S MEDIA APPOINTEES CONTINUES, DESPITE THE SAD DEATH OF THE GOV’S DIRECTOR OF PRESS AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS, MR. EMMANUEL NANLE

By: Valentine Adese,

The disunity and disagreements among the media appointees of Governor Simon Bako Lalong of Plateau State seem to have continued, despite the sad death of the Governor’s Director of Press and Public Affairs, Mr. Emmanuel Samuel Nanle.

You would recall that the state Governor, through the State Ministry of Information and Culture, had last week announced the demise of Mr. Nanle (DOPA) in India, after a brief illness.

GOV. LALONG

REALITY gathers that plans are on top gear by the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) led by the Governor to bring back the body of Late Nanle from India for a befitting burial soon.

Despite this plan, the rift and disagreements among the media appointees have continued, as they hardly meet to discuss issues that they are appointed for, as rivalry among them seem to have deepened and have taken over the space of official duties. REALITY can authoritative state!

LATE EMMANUEL SAMUEL NANLE

REALITY gathers that the “parking lot” of Late Mr. Nanle in the State Government House has already become an addition issue, as some of the Governor’s media appointees have started personal political wars, over who would “inherit” the space, even when Mr. Nanle is yet to be buried.

You would recall that in an earlier investigation published by REALITY, findings strongly indicated that most of the appointees in Governor Lalong’s media circle were not in talking terms and were working at cross purposes in the course of executing Executive Orders or Directives.

The published findings also indicated that, while the deceased was still alive, it was difficult to identify, who is responsible to write or sign a press release from the state government house among the appointees, as disagreements continued among them over their job schedules.

You would recall that reports in the state have been that, Late Mr. Emmanuel Nanle, had wanted to resign from his appointment as DOPA, but owing to reason(s) yet to be made public, he did not actualize that intention before his sad death.

As the conflict deepens, REALITY will bring you more details. Keep faith!!
